A Very Kind post by North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust following a Donation From Durham Province Lead by our Worshipful Master Duncan Maw.
In May this year, our Trust was visited by Durham Freemasons, who donated 10 Galaxy tablets to the Trust.
Mark Davies and Duncan Maw, both Durham Freemasons presented the tablets to OPD Matron Tracy Maddison, Chief Executive Julie Gillon and Barbara Bright, Director of Corporate Affairs and Chief of Staff.
Mark explained “we hope they provide some degree of relief to those who are unable to communicate with their loved ones during the current pandemic. We have worked closely with the Trust for such a long time now – with our TLC Teddy initiative and other projects. From a Freemasons perspective – the relationship is a benchmark for others across the country”.
Julie Gillon, Chief Executive for the Trust said of the donation “we continue to be overwhelmed by the level of generosity from our communities. The support of our friends at the Freemasons has always been unwavering. This was such a wonderful gesture and the tablets are playing a really important role in keeping patients linked with their families. A very special thank you to Mark and Duncan for their efforts”.
